Dr. Sumei Mai

Dr. Sumei Mai grew up in San Francisco and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCSF School of Dentistry. She went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Army while completing her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Dr. Mai chose to become an Army Dental Officer to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, particularly in caring for our Soldiers, and she remains deeply proud of her service to the military community.
Through the Army’s state-of-the-art facilities, Dr. Mai gained extensive clinical experience while working alongside a highly skilled team of dentists. Her expertise includes restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, oral surgery, dental implants, and fixed and removable prosthodontics.
As a well-rounded general dentist, Dr. Mai is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. She approaches every patient with compassion and empathy and is committed to lifelong learning through ongoing continuing education.
